Fresh, Friendly Dining on US-301 N

"The place is under new management as of three days ago y'all! The entire menu is new! The food and service were excellent. Our server, Raven, was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend trying this place again. I will definitely be recommending it to friends and family. Here are pictures of the new menu, which is completely different from before."

"I thoroughly enjoyed the Mexican food here I had a burrito which was humongous and my daughter had empanadas and I don't know how fresh the food is here but is sure dang tasted fresh it was very tasty and wonderful to eat. My two youngest girls had just chicken tenders and fries they tasted good but as for the Mexican food yes it is definitely good I just came from a spot in Fayetteville North Carolina and that Mexican food wasn't even as close too the great tasting food here so yes I highly recommend this spot"

"Great American food! Even the Mexican options were Americanized, which isn't a bad thing! Just don't expect anything authentic. The quesadilla was really good; They used fiesta cheese blend. There aren't any free chips and salsa, but they're pretty cheap if you want some. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and well decorated."

"Don’t get me wrong. The wings were amazing but they only had two Mexican food items on the menu. Everything else was American food items point blank. The place was clean. It did look like a fancy Mexican restaurant out of Mexico very nice but the menu only had two items that were Mexican food items. The tacos were nasty the ground beef even taste like corn beef hash on seasoned didn’t even have a taco seasoning on the ground beef. The shell was stale and cold. Cost me $14 for two tacos with a side of small chips ! I was going to get the steak, but after I tasted the tacos, I said hell no. It did not have the taste of Mexican food at all. My suggestion don’t eat here unless you want American food and even that wasn’t even that great. The waitress was only one waiter for the entire restaurant. I waited about 25 minutes to get checked out and she had a nice smile, but it didn’t seem like she was enjoying her work. Neither did the host. I feel bad for the others who were just walking into here with their family. I just don’t wanna be rude but at least I’m warning y’all now you want Mexican food to go somewhere else for it you want American unseasoned food then come here for it."

"My experience was disappointing from beginning to end. The service was inattentive, and our server rarely checked on our table. We frequently had to flag someone down when we needed assistance, and by the end of the meal it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. The food was equally disappointing and did not justify the prices charged. The quality and overall experience simply did not meet expectations. What bothered me most was the automatic gratuity added to our bill for a party of two. While when I called and wanted the extended tip on top of the 18% gratuity later stated verbally to fine print stating gratuity would be added if alcohol was ordered, this was never verbally mentioned by our server. Given the level of service we received, it felt like the automatic gratuity removed any incentive to provide attentive customer service. The rushed attitude, lack of follow-up, and having to ask for our check only reinforced that impression. I have no problem tipping for good service, and I regularly do being a bartender manager and sever for over 22 years! However, automatically adding gratuity to a two-person table without clearly informing customers upfront, combined with poor service and disappointing food, left a very negative impression. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and recommend anyone passing through to rethink stopping in to this Restaurant. Had Raven L given the same service as I suppose she expects to receive in the service industry when she is out, we would have tipped the tab as my husband and I both are in this industry. Whoever ran our drinks out was great and we recommended putting more people like her on the floor. Customer service isn’t for everyone. This is a prime example."
